The electrical cables are typically used on workboats, tugs, fishing boats, casino boats, and other commercial vessels. Moreover, these cables are suitable for oil rig applications. Other possible applications include lighting, communication, and control systems. The cable is suitable to be installed in trays, troughs, channels, conduit, and wireways. These cables pass the IEEE-383 and IEEE Standard 1202 flammability test. The cable is rated 600 V.

Construction:

Conductor: 

A stranded soft annealed copper conductor with high conductivity. The conductors can be tinned or alloy coated with a class B stranding. They are connected with non hygroscopic fillers for a circular cross-section.

Insulation:

XLPE cross-linked polyethylene insulation is resistant to moisture, flame, heat, and mechanical impact. The insulation is color-coded in Black, white or red according to IEEE-45.

Jacket:

A thermoplastic jacket is complying with table A11.

Armor:

Aluminum or bronze basket weave armor is optional. Again, it is designed to meet the requirements of IEEE-45.
