About:

• The Power Single-Core Bare Copper Unshielded XLPE LSF 600/1000V Wiring Cable is designed for electrical distribution systems. It features a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and a Low Smoke and Fume (LSF) sheath, providing excellent electrical, thermal, and safety properties. This cable is ideal for use in environments where fire safety is crucial due to its low emission of smoke and toxic fumes.

Application:

• XLPE insulated and LSF sheathed cable for fixed installation. Not suitable for direct burial.

Standard:

• IEC 60502-1: Power cables with extruded insulation for rated voltages of 1 kV (Um = 1.2 kV) and 3 kV (Um = 3.6 kV).
• BS 7211: Thermosetting insulated, non-armoured cables for voltages up to 450/750V, suitable for electric power, lighting, and internal wiring.
• BS EN 60228: Conductors of insulated cables.
• BS EN 60332-1-2: Tests for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable.

Construction:

• Generally in accordance with BS7889
• Conductor: Stranded Class 2 copper conductors to BS EN 60228
• Insulation: Brown XLPE insulation Type GP8 to BS7655
• Sheath: Black LSF sheath Type LTS1 to BS7655
• Flame retardant to BS EN 60332-3-24
• Other colours are available. (Details upon request)
• Temperature Rating: 90°C maximum conductor operating temperature
• Voltage Rating: 600/1000 V
