Applications:
Okozel Type SP-OS, Type ITC/PLTC Thermocouple Extension Cable is used in nuclear stations and fossil fuel generating stations, especially in critical control circuits. The cable' shielding performs well when there is a risk of extreme electromagnetic interference. The cable has a 150 C dry temperature rating and a 75 C wet temperature rating. The cables are perfect for industrial use where extremely high or low temperatures are involved. The lowest temperature that this cable can actually survive is -65°C (-85°F). On top of that, the cable has extreme abrasion resistance. Finally, the cable is resistant to all types of industrial chemicals.

The conductor is a solid thermocouple alloy. The communication drain wire is made of solid bare copper.
Insulation:
Branded Okozel ® insulation is made of ETFE fluoropolymer and is resistant to flame and radiation.
Jacket:
Nylon jacket branded as Okozel®. The jacket is flame-retardant and resistant to oil, radiation, and chemicals.
Shielding:
The overall shielding is full-coverage aluminum-polyester tape, and a 7- coated copper drain wire that reflects the size of the conductor.
