Description:

NEOPRENE is robust and weather-resistant, neoprene jacketed, 300/500-volt control cable with a center strain relieving support. Designed for outdoor use where long lengths are installed without the use of messenger supports. Commonly found in machinery and applications that are continuously exposed to adverse weather conditions including handling and hoisting gear, construction machinery, dockyard installations, and conveyor systems. NEOPRENE cables are ideal for use as control cables in trailing cables. The neoprene outer jacket is oil, fat, alkali, and UV resistant and may also be used in seawater for industrial purposes. These cables are NOT suitable for use on pulleys or drums under tensile loads.
