Applications:

TELCOFLEX is a durable and flexible electrical cable designed for telecommunications and power distribution in conducts and cable tray systems.  It is used in cell towers, data centers, and CATV. The electrical cable is suitable for use in temperatures up to 105°C in dry conditions and up to 60°C in wet conditions. TELCOFLEX II Central Office Power Cable is rated at 600 volts.

Construction:

Conductors:

The cable comes with stranded tinned copper conductors per B-33 and B-172. The conductors are Class I bunched in sizes 8 and 6 AWG, and rope-bunched in sizes 4 AWG and larger. For easier stripping, the conductors are covered with opaque mylar tape that acts as a separator.

Insulation:

The cable is known for its environmentally friendly, low-smoke, lead-free, silicone-free, and halogen-free insulation named TelcoHyde 522. It reduces the emission of toxins and harmful gases. The insulation has a limited oxygen index of 35 percent. TelcoHyde 5221 is resistant to smoke, flames, impact, abrasion, chemicals, acids, and halogen. The insulation is covered with a cotton braid with a saturant that makes it resistant to moisture and flames.
