Applications:

The Flat Yellow With Ground Submersible Pump Cable is a special type of electrical cable uniquely designed for heavy-duty use with submersible pumps. The temperature range is -40 C to 75 C. The electrical cable is suitable for dry and wet locations. The cable is typically used within the well casing in order to supply power to the submersible pump. Construction:

Conductor: 

The conductors are made of stranded annealed bare copper. Annealing enhances the flexibility of the conductor, which makes it easy to install and transport. The conductors are resistant to oil and grease and flexible.

Insulation:

Each individual conductor is insulated with a thermoplastic PVC insulation. The insulation is resistant to mechanical impact, abrasion, oils, acids, sunlight, and chemicals.

Jacket:

Yellow thermoplastic PVC jacket is resistant to weather, ozone, and sunlight, acid, alkali, and oil.

Conductors

Insulation

The insulation used is polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which is strong material. The insulation protects the user from shock and others hazards that may be caused by electricity. The insulation also protects the conductor from external damage caused by impact, abrasion, oils, acids, sunlight and industrial chemicals.

Cable jacket

It has a yellow flat cable jacket which is made from PVC. The cable jacket protects the inner components of the cable from damage. It is resistant to water, ozone and mechanical impact considering its operating environment. It also has sequential footage markings to help determine the correct measurement during installation.
