About:

Pad-mounted transformers are equipment used in underground distribution systems that are installed on a base or concrete slab called a "pedestal.” They are used for residential applications, shopping centers, buildings, and hotels, among others, and in general in those cases in which safety, space, or aesthetic power supply is required with shielded medium-voltage underground dry cable.

Features:

• Removable and interchangeable Bay-0-Net type fuses, which protect the equipment against external events such as extreme overloads and external short circuits in the secondary network.
• Built-in limiting fuses that protect the primary network from high-current faults in the windings.
• DPS, or elbow-type surge arresters, which protect the equipment against overvoltages produced in the network.
• A breaker with an opening capacity under load, which allows for switching operations.

Highly durable and compatible with dielectric oil, to guarantee the life of the equipment.
