Applications:
Type CMR Multi-conductor Foil Shielded Communication Cable is a cable used for communication purposes in public address systems, Intercoms, Internal telephones, and remote control circuits. Cable's voltage rating is 300 volts.
Also Known As:
Shielded communication wire, shielded data communication cable, communication multipurpose cable riser, type CMR cable, riser-rated cable, computer power cable, and computer power cord.
Construction:
Conductors:
Fully annealed, stranded tinned copper per ASTM B-33. The pairs of a conductor are twisted.
Insulation:
Premium-grade, color-coded S-R PVC.
Jacket:
A gray PVC jacket with a temperature rating between -20°C to +80°C.
Shield:
An aluminum/polyester shield with a 25% foil overlap and a stranded tinned copper drain wire.
