Female XLR To Amphenol Anytek 3-Pin Connector

Description :

Interfaces for transmitting various audio signals in sound systems

XLR interface, commonly known as Cannon connector (Cannon), the initial terminal is "Cannon X" series, the later version adds a spring lock (Latch) to become "Cannon XL" series, and then the contact surface of the terminal is covered with rubber (Rubber), became the source of its acronym XLR.

There are basically three pins of the XLR terminal, and there can be a larger number of pins.

XLR, commonly known as Cannon, is completely different from the RCA (lotus-head interface) analog audio cable that transmits sound directly. The Balanced Analog Audio interface uses two channels to transmit the same signal but opposite phases Signal.

The receiving end equipment subtracts the two sets of signals, and the interference signal is cancelled out, thereby obtaining a high-quality analog signal. This kind of joint is composed of three contacts, which are 1-- Ground; 2--hot end (+ grade); 3--cold end (- grade)

XLR connectors are the most widely used type of connectors in professional audio systems. They can be used to transmit various audio signals in the audio system. Generally, balanced input and output terminals are connected using XLR connectors.

In a sense, the use of XLR connectors is also one of the features that distinguish professional audio systems from civilian audio. The benefits are:

a. The balanced transmission method has strong anti-interference ability, which is conducive to long-distance transmission (not more than 100 meters).

b. With a spring locking device, the connection is reliable and not easy to pull off.

c. The connector specifies the signal flow direction, which is convenient to prevent connection errors.

XLR plugs are divided into male and female plugs, and sockets are also divided into male and female sockets. Male contacts are pins, while female contacts are jacks.

According to common international practice, the male plug or socket is used as the output end of the signal; the female plug and socket are used as the input end of the signal.
