Manufacturers we Trust: Lütze

A part of our ongoing series on manufacturers that Nassau National Cable works with, this blog introduces you to Lütze. This family-owned German international company is known for high-tech industrial cables. Let us delve into the company's history to understand how it took the North American market by storm and look into the most popular Lütze products sold by Nassau National Cable.

Company's History

Lütze began as a family-owned electronics and cable company in Germany, Stuttgart back in 1958. Despite its vast international expansion, the company is still managed by the descendants of its founder Friedrich Lütze.

Since its beginning, the company has focused on high-tech and automatic solutions for the cable industry, which was not a mainstream branch of business back in the 1950s. Lütze's 60-year dedication to high-tech solutions made it into one of the wire and cable distributors most valued for its innovative technological solutions.

Back in the day, Lütze pioneered many technological solutions that are still highly valued in the wire and cable industry. In the 1960s, it became one of the first cable companies that manufactured and distributed high flex industrial cables. The company continues to pioneer unique technological solutions for industrial wiring today. Lütze's technologies are focused on automation, control cabinet wiring, and ethernet networks.

LUTZE Inc is more than a wire and cable company as it also creates technological solutions across industries, including transportation, rail, and IT. This gives the company a unique perspective and innovation that goes way beyond the trends in the wire and cable industry.

Surprisingly, Lütze's expansion to the Northern European market began only in 2013 when the company opened its first location in Charlotte, North Carolina. Before that, the company focused its effort on taking the European market and expanding into China.

In just eight years, Lütze became one of the most well-recognized and trusted brands of highly technological cables. This speaks volumes about the brand's excellence because the North American market usually favors local companies, and the initial production capacity of Lütze has been way below the native brands at the starting point.

Lütze Cables Sold By Nassau National Cable

Lütze is known across the industries for its spectacular collections of industrial and control cables. At the moment, Nassau National Cable sells 47 types of Lütze Cables at some of the best prices in North America. We distribute two particular subtypes of Lütze Cables: Bus and network cables and Motor, Servo, and Feedback Cables.

LÜTZE's bus and network cables are highly flexible industrial cables that are designed for bus systems and internet networks. These cables follow international Ethernet standards. The company uses its patented technology SUPERFLEX® in some of its bus and communication cables. SUPERFLEX® is an innovative technology for high-performance flexing cables used in innovative industries like robotics. The brand uses technologies patented by other companies, including a network protocol DeviceNet®.

Motor, Servo, and Feedback Cables are a group of LÜTZE cables that are meant for motor connection and energy supply. These cables come with strong insulation suitable for most demanding industrial conditions, strength, and flexibility that does not depend on the operational temperature. For motor, servo, and feedback wire, the company once again uses its high-performing flexible SUPERFLEX® technology. Other technological patents applied to these cables are SILFLEX®, DRIVEFLEX®, and MOTIONFLEX®. SILFLEX® is a variation of Lütze's infamous high-flex technology. DRIVEFLEX® is a specific technology for servo and valuable frequency drive applications, whereas MOTIONFLEX® is a technology for motor cables that allows twisting and flexing in motion uses.
